How does the Titan Incubators Chicken House Door Openers know when the door is closed?

When the door hits the bottom of the hole when closing, the motor receives a signal that the weight has decreased significantly as the string will become loose within the unit. On reception of this signal, the motor will stop and the door will remain closed until it becomes light or reaches the time set by you.

This is why it is so important that your door is completely free moving - if the door becomes stuck half way the motor will receive this signal and the door will stop where it is.

However, if the door is then removed from the stuck position, it should continue to lower the door within a couple of minutes.

Based in the UK we have worked passionately with suppliers & designers for many years aiding their product development, but we decided to get the best products for our customers it is best to design and build our own.
